Plumber Pack Review

So I just posted a review a few minutes ago, and here I am with another? Seems legit. Warning: this isn't tonight's last review. This time, I'll cover the Plumber Pack, which contains OV's awesome Plumbers Patelliday, Blukic, and Driba, as well as hilarious villain Solid Plugg. These figures were previously released in playsets, but now they come fully painted! So, onwards, children.

Magister Patelliday

In a pack of midgets, Patelliday the awesome Ripjaws dude stands alone as the only full-sized figure.

As always, the sculpt is exceptional. Very detailed and accurate. He's even got his glasses and derpy expression! The detail on the Plumber suit is beautiful and awesome.

The only articulated figure in the pack better have good articulation, and I am pleased to report that he has standard articulation, unrestricted. He's a joy to pose.

Obligatory size comparison with Ben and Rook. He's slightly taller than both, which seems about right.

Ratings

Articulation: Perfect. 5/5
Sculpt: Also perfect. 5/5
Playability: See above. 5/5
Overall: 5/5 Amazing

Driba

My personal favorite of the bumbling tech support duo, Driba and his pal Blukic recently got an entire episode to themselves, a feat that not even Rook has accomplished yet. His figure in the playsets was unpainted, so this is the one to get if you don't have the sets, or even if you do.

Driba looks good. Like his animated counterpart, he's small and fat. I'm pleased to see details like his fat chin incorporated into the figure. Once again, the Plumber suit looks great.

There's not really much else to say. He's not articulated, but he's small enough that it doesn't matter. I'm not typing that two more times, so it goes for Blukic and Plugg, too.

Size comparison. I never thought I'd say this about an OV figure, but he's actually bigger than he should be. That's okay, if he was to scale, they'd only have a two and a half pack.

Ratings

Articulation: None, but it doesn't matter 0/0
Sculpt: Looking good 5/5
Playability: A little big and he doesn't do anything, but it works. 4/5
Overall: 4.5/5 Very Good

Blukic

Actually pronounced "Blukich", this Galvan is more laid-back than his partner, but also seems more capable, and you definitely don't want to get him mad. He'll turn your robot minions against you!

Tall and thin Blukic generally wears overalls and a cap,and all of their details are preserved on this tiny toy, right down to the stripe on his pocket and a wrinkle in his cap. Even his derp eyes are here. This is a mighty fine looking toy.

See Driba for my sentence about his articulation

He's much too big. But once again, any smaller and they wouldn't have a sellable toy.

Best buds! And total opposites. Fat and short, tall and skinny, hick and city-boy (come on, the accents give it away)

Ratings:

Articulation: See Driba 0/0
Sculpt: Also see Driba 5/5
Playability: Once again. Driba. 4/5
Overall: 4.5/5 Very Good

Solid Plugg

Minor villain Solid Plugg, played for comic relief in his two appearances, beat out big bads Khyber and Malware for the honor of first OV villain figure. Should you just wait for them? Or is Plugg a good figure as well as a whacky character? It's all in the review.

Once again, he's a tiny detailed figure. His colors are very vibrant and nice, and overall he's a great little toy.

I'm going to take a minute to say that he could have had shoulder articulation if they'd wanted to give it to him. But it doesn't hurt the figure, so I won't take any points off.

Seems about right. Good job, Bandai :D

Ratings

Articulation: Could have had movable arms, but it doesn't hurt him 0/0
Sculpt: Awesome as always 5/5
Playability: No articulation stings a litle here, but it's all good. 4.5/5
Overall: 4.75/5 Very Good

The Pack Overall

A great pack filled with figures of awesome characters that would have never gotten toys in previous series. Yay for Omniverse!

No but seriously. This pack is amazing and I expect you all to buy it at your earliest convenience. You won't be sorry.

Rating: 4.69/5 Very Good
