Catch A Falling Star Review

(All categories are out of 5)

Aliens
In this episode, we saw 5 aliens: Humungoubore, Goop, Clockwork, Swampfire, and Eatle. Let me say it straight out: I despise Humungousaur. He's got boring powers, he's overused, and he has an uninteresting design. I'm also not too keen on Swampfire, for the same reasons (except powers). Mercifully, Humungousaur's appearance here was entertaining and Swampfire's was just a cameo. The always-awesome Goop, official debut of Clockwork and Eatle's new - albeit boring  transformation sequence made up for it.

Plot
Weak. I don't like the romance-centered episodes and the lack of Kevin was not good. As far as plot importance goes, it was a sequel to a filler - would that make it a semi-filler? Regardless, I rarely saw myself excited or gripped by this episode, except when my favorite alien, Clockwork, appeared.

Fun
Gwen got in one good line. The usual merriment vehicles, Kevin and Rath, were absent, so this episode was a little less fun than the norm. The romantic plot also made this one less tan enjoyable.

Average: 3.6
...but it gets a bonus point for Clockwork!

Final: 4.2
